Cenote Xulo with colors

Once again practicing this new modality of painting colors the cave formations.

This idea is taken after watching the video of Katy Fraser from She Dive Tech. On Facebook.

Obviously and just to practice and give me an idea of how it would be to color the walls of the cave,  I buy some colored cellophane sheets in the stationery and the result was not exactly what I expected but it did not go so badly.

Photographing a flooded and completely dark cave is a challenge, because in order to be able to color you must first strategically color the flashes with the remote slave unit (RSU) from Heinrichs Weikamp with great care not to damage the formations and not to raise a lot of sediment in different parts of the cave and always remembering the order where one I put them.

Pablo my model and friend who is always patient helped me in the lighting and in the logistics of placing the flashes.

I hope very soon to be able to get some gel filters to see the difference and thus be able to improve the quality of the photos.

The only thing I can say about this session of photography is that there is only one way to reach your goal and it is with perseverance, passion and a lot of practice.
